Kenny Herriott
Petrofac has sponsored wheelchair athlete Kenny Herriot since 2001 following an accident which left him severely paralysed. Kenny has competed in many races across the globe and his dedication and motivation is inspirational. We have built a long and significant relationship with Kenny and supported him in all of his challenges.
Last year, Petrofac supported Kenny on his 1,000-mile hand-cycle from Land’s End to John O’Groats. Once again, he set himself another unbelievable challenge to hand-cycle from San Francisco to New York, a total of 4,000 miles! Kenny successfully completed this in 42 days on 7 June.
All monies raised from the trip have been donated to Cash for Kids which distributes grants to children’s groups, organisations and projects throughout the North East of Scotland and Alex’s Lemonade Stand which is an American childhood charity. More information can be found at
