    Petrofac, the international oil & gas facilities service provider, is pleased to confirm its Offshore Engineering & Operations business has been awarded a five-year, multi-million pound contract by BHP Billiton. Petrofac has supported BHP Billiton’s operation at Liverpool Bay since early construction and operational start-up.

    Petrofac Secures New North Sea Contract with Britannia
    Petrofac, the international oil & gas facilities service provider, has confirmed that its Offshore Engineering & Operations business has secured a new contract with Britannia Operator Limited (BOL). The deal, worth £35 million over five years with a further five year extension option, will see Petrofac continue to provide operations and maintenance support services for Britannia’s ongoing operations in the central North Sea.

    Petrofac Athletics League begins new season
    The Petrofac Athletics League season will commence this Sunday, 25 April, at the Aberdeen Sports Village with the first of four scheduled meetings. To kick-off the league, which has been sponsored by oil & gas facilities service provider Petrofac since 2007, athletes from Aberdeen and Ellon clubs will compete in a range of track and field activities, including the long jump, high jump, sprints and throwing events. The winners will then go on to compete in the league finals to be held in Inverness in September.

    Petrofac Acquires Metering Specialist
    Petrofac, the international oil & gas facilities service provider, confirms that it has acquired Stephen Gillespie Consultants Limited (SGC), a UK-based provider of metering services and systems for an initial cash consideration of £2.1 million. A further consideration of up to £1.4 million will be payable in cash over two years, subject to achieving certain agreed performance targets.

    SPD Commences Multi-well, Multi-customer Manangement Programme in UK North Sea
    SPD, part of Petrofac Production Solutions announces that it will shortly commence a four firm well programme with a project value in excess of £50 million in the Northern and Central North Sea utilising Diamond Offshore’s semi-submersible, the Ocean Nomad. The Ocean Nomad sequence shall consist of wells for Valiant Petroleum plc, Wintershall (E&P) LTD and Nautical Petroleum. The firm programme may be extended with the addition of up to three option wells.
