This performance-driven approach is reflected in the variety of commercial models through which Petrofac Energy Developments leverages the group’s service capability.
Petrofac is prepared to risk its own capital, alongside that of its customers and partners and, in so doing, it ensures complete alignment with the objectives of the development. This exposure to the risks as well as rewards of a development’s performance can be made in a number of ways, including concessionary structures (such as build-own-operate, gain-share arrangements, performance-driven service contracts, quasi-equity structures) or direct equity investment.

The team is made up of experts with a wide range of specialities: technical, operational, commercial and asset management, backed by strong financial resources. It has offices in London and Aberdeen in the UK, Sharjah in the UAE, in Tunis, Tunisia and in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
